A little background info…

The fourth generation of the original Benz Micro wood body cartridge, the Ref-S uses the Micro Ridge stylus and the generator developed for the Ebony L (0.26mV at 3.54cm/sec, 5 Ohm coil impedance). It is ideal with high gain phono stages (>60dB) with input impedance of less than 300 ohms or when using step-up transformers.
