The Explorer Series – allowing more music lovers to explore higher audio performance.

By combining Siltech’s proprietary technology, know-how and experience with exacting constructional standards and innovative dielectric materials, the cables in the Explorer series offer remarkable performance for the price. While Siltech normally produces cables that have silver in the conductors, the cables in the Explorer series have conductors made of copper – but not just any copper. Extensive research has allowed us to eliminate the microscopic contaminants that don’t just limit the performance of conventional copper conductors but erode it over time.
Our high-purity, 6N monocrystal copper conductors offer both measurably superior conductivity and longevity. By combining this revolutionary metallurgy with our proven, self-shielding, low-loss construction and unique, twin-layer Kapton-Teflon insulation, we ensure superb protection from mechanical, RF and EM interference. The Explorer series cables deliver genuine Siltech quality and performance at an attractive price.

6N Monocrystal

Copper offers an excellent cost-to-performance ratio for affordable applications, but not all types are created equal. Siltech’s 6N monocrystal is of superlative quality, delivering maximum conductivity over extended periods of time. In the Explorer Series, it comes in self-shielding, twisted, twin coaxial form complete with our unique twin layer Kapton/Teflon insulation. Because mechanical noise, and radio frequency and electromagnetic interference are kept to a minimum, our copper’s purity shines through.

Explorer is Siltech’s entry-level audiophile range of cables, comprising unbalanced and balanced interconnects, loudspeaker cables and digital interconnects, including USB or FireWire terminations.

Designed to give a taste of what’s possible from our high end products but without the expense, the knowledge gleaned from nearly four decades of research and development has gone into this accessible range of high quality cables.

At its heart is Siltech’s bespoke 6N monocrystal copper conductor, which is ultra pure for extremely low loss signal transfer. This is backed by innovative dielectric materials with twin-layer Kapton-Teflon insulation to protect from mechanical, radio frequency and electromagnetic interference. Superb construction quality means that it’s built to last.
