Introducing the Hana S Series MKII cartridges

The Mk II upgrade to our globally best-selling Hana S series cartridges enhanceboth their musical performance and value. Master cartridge designer MaseoOkada implements a new tapered Aluminum cantilever with increased rigidity,resulting in a remarkable improvement transferring groove modulation from vinylrecord to the cartridge generator. The S Series Mk II cartridges feature higherspecified parts, advanced materials, and unique technical processes from Hana’shigher-priced elite cartridge models, furthering the Hana “brilliant and gorgeous”sound.

Hana S Series Mk II cartridges use a new tapered aluminum cantilever with higherrigidity, and effective mass reduction at stylus tip, resulting in enhanced clarityand music transfer from vinyl record to cartridge generator. Improved, non-resonant body shape, modeled after the Hana M Series, is dampedwith a matte Soft Feel Black elastomeric resin paint, and features a brass cap withthreaded cartridge mounting fittings. The heavier Mk II cartridges offer bettercoupling with expanded compatibility to a wider range of tonearms, improvingbass and dynamics

Shibata High(SH) and Low(SL) MKII

The Hana SL and SH models, distinguished by their black body, provide tighter channel balance, greater channel separation, and improved high-frequency extension compared to their EH and EL counterparts. The SL and SH models also feature an upgraded Shibata stylus.
