PSU-1000 has been developed to overdrive all 1000 series units, except the amps, to achieve the best resolution. Powered with Super Inductive Dual Choke hybrid design it features an inductive filter on the analogue stage and a dual choke design controlled by a double inductor driving both the negative and positive high-current stages. The Dual Choke design – a Gold Note proprietary technology – perfectly
filters the signal voltages to eliminate interference and electrical noise from the AC power system. With its massive 1000 watt overall power supply it is capable of providing a shield from the AC power grid to achieve complete insulation, granting an ideal working environment to let the electronics perform at their best. The massive ultra-clean power thus generated enhances noise reduction, greater dynamic, better
resolution and finer details guaranteeing the best realism and musicality. PSU-1000 is powered by 5 transformers: 3 dedicated to the power supply, 1 for the inductive choke filter, 1 for the galvanic insulation of the audio stage.
